Infinity Parent Coaching was founded by Anastasia Tikhomirova-Seale in May 2010. In 2007, Anastasia encountered some behavioural challenges with her first son. His tantrums and the aggression followed by guilt that these tantrums brought out in Anastasia made her wonder if there were better ways of communicating with kids. She started searching for answers in various parenting books and found a lot of them in 'How to Talk so Kids will Listen and How to Listen so Kids Will Talk’ by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. Anastasia wanted to share with other parents the invaluable skills that she learned and that helped her so much. In October 2008 Anastasia began running evening "How to Talk so Kids Will Listen" workshops based on the acclaimed books by Faber and Mazlish. After giving up her legal career in March 2010, she also began running "Siblings Without Rivalry" based on another extremely helpful book by the same authors. In May 2010 Anastasia completed her training as a Parent Group Leader with Family Links enabling her to run the Nurturing Programme. Anastasia has also completed "Training for Trainers" course run by The Parent Practice, a parenting programme "The Incredible Years" developed by Carolyn Webster-Stratton, Ph.D. and run by NHS/CAMHS and "When Your Kids Push Your Buttons" workshop run by Bonnie Harris M.S.Ed. She is also completing a masters-level parent coach certification programme run by The Academy for Coaching Parents International.
All of the workshops Anastasia runs have a small number of participants making them very effective and practical. The workshops are currently run in Battersea/Wandsworth in London. However, if you have enough friends interested in attending, Anastasia will be happy to "bring" a workshop to a location more convenient to you.
Anastasia also provides one-to-one consultations.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Anastasia travelled to the US, Austria and then the UK to complete her higher education. While in university, she minored in Psychology. She then went to law school and qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2002. She worked as a finance lawyer at Herbert Smith, then as an in-house finance lawyer at BP and then as a corporate lawyer at MFB solicitors until March 2010.
Anastasia lives with her husband and two sons in London, UK.
