Evening How To Talk So Kids Will Listen
This is a 6 week workshop. The materials are based on the acclaimed books by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish called "How to Talk so Kids will Listen and How to Listen so the Kids will Talk" and "Liberated Parents, Liberated Children".

During the workshop, the parents acquire some invaluable communication skills, all aimed at helping their children build a healthy self-esteem and helping to establish an atmosphere of mutual respect within the family.

This workshop is run by one facilitator. Each weekly session takes place in Battersea/Wandsworth in the evenings from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The workshop covers the following 6 topics:

1. Helping children deal with their feelings;

2. Engaging children’s cooperation;

3. Finding alternatives to punishment;

4. Encouraging autonomy;

5. Praising children:

6. Freeing children from playing roles.

Evening Siblings Without Rivalry
This is a 6 week workshop. The materials are based on an extremely helpful book by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish called "Siblings Without Rivalry".

During the workshop, the parents learn how to help their children live together, ways of reducing tension between children and encouraging harmony.

The workshop is run by one group facilitator. Each weekly session takes place in Battersea/Wandsworth in the evenings from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The workshop covers the following 6 topics:

1. Helping siblings deal with their feelings about each other;

2. Keeping children separate and unequal;

3. Siblings in roles;

4. When the kids fight;

5. Problem solving;

6. A final review (exploring your own relationship with your own siblings).

This is a 10 week programme which was developed by a company called Family Links.

The programme helps parents to practice positive discipline, manage challenging behaviour, cope with stress and most importantly nurture themselves.

The programme is run by two trained Family Links parent group leaders. Each weekly session takes place in the evenings from 8:00 pm to 10 pm in the venue to be confirmed.

The programme covers the following topics:

1. Giving praise;

2. The question of discipline, time out to calm down;

3. Family rules, rewards and penalties;

4. Personal power, self-esteem, choices and consequences;

5. Feelings and what to do with them, communicating clearly, using "I" statements;

6. Kinds of touch, nurturing ourselves;

7. Ages and stages in children's development, helping children grow up;

8. Issues around sex, helping children stay safe;

9. Behaviour to ignore, problem-solving and negotiating;

10. Continuing the family journey.
